What is the self, when it is co-authored by code?
What happens to the body when it’s rendered by a machine?
Where is the body when it is fragmented, filtered, and distributed across data?
Holographic Selves is an online exhibition exploring the fragmented, mirrored, and often illusory nature of artificial intelligence as it intersects with identity, embodiment, and perception. Drawing on the metaphor of the hologram—where each fragment contains the whole—we invite artists to engage with the idea of the quantum self: unstable, plural, and entangled across data, desire, memory, and digital presence.
We seek works that reflect, distort, or fracture the notion of self and the body through AI. Whether poetic or uncanny, embodied or abstract, this exhibition welcomes pieces that interrogate the AI body as a site of self-performance, intimacy, simulation, or transformation.
